Glaciers are united by the egle. We climed up a glacier two days ago. We had a gest specker named Kent. We learned a lot from Kent.

If a glacier is next to a lake it will reflect. The drive was one hour and 15 minutes long the name of the bus was called a chartered bus. the trail was up the glacier it was really rocky did you know that it is rocky because it use to be a river but they put a dam so the water does not go on the street. St. mary'sGlacier is not a glacier any more it is a snow sheet.

My class took a charter bus to St. Mary's Glacier. When my class got there and started to hike it got steeper and steeper every time. I learned that glaciers hold pressure. I also learned that glaciers are always on the east side. I had a fun time at St. Mary's Glacier I can't wait to go back again. Fun fact: Glaciers can move very slow.

I learned that the higher you are in attitude the harder it is to breath. St. Mary's glacier is now considered an ice sheet. The furn is 5 feet deep in the middle.A geologist named Kent Hups helped us.going to St. Mary's glacier with you'r class is a GREAT lifetime experience!

I learned when we were at the Glacier we were 11,000 feet high. We got to put our feet in the water! It really is not even a Glacier, but an Ice Sheet. The Glacier stayed for long periods of time due to the how the wind blew. The lake was a basin, and it was made by the water pushing the ice up. I thought the it was really cool to see a real glacier, and I have never been that high hiking before.
